Yeah he was our biggest hero in this town

Bob Costas spoke for about 20 minutes, just a beautiful eulogy. He broke down crying several times. Was choking me up!

I wish I would have watched it. I have always been a Costas fan. I love when he is the one calling the World Series. Joe Buck and Tim McCarver are blow hards.

I can't wait for baseball.

I was just watching this show on HGTV about "Micro" apartments in NYC. The entire apartment was 250 -300 square feet. The desk turned into the bed. NYC is awesome, but I couldn't live like that.

I agree, I'd like to go check it out, do the tourist thing, but I'd rather have hot waxed poured into my eyeballs then actually live there....

That's what I like about LA, it's spread out and feels more "open" if that makes any sense....

IKEA has sets like that in their stores. The room is deceitfully large due in part by not having walls. You won't do any entertaining in one.

I miss having an IKEA. We had 2 in Chicagoland. They were talking about building one in St. Louis and then at the last minute they picked Kansas City instead.

I can take or leave them. I am at that point in life where I like grown up furniture, want to talk to a real sales person, and really don't care for the idea that my sofa, when delivered, was in a package about the size of a shoe box.

I never really bought much furniture there. I bought a bookcase, and a wardrobe. I liked the household wares section though, and the chicken fingers in the cafeteria!

Same here, purchased some accessories and the food is not bad at all.
