People need to realize that frying bacon isn't the way to go. Baking bacon is less messy and it has more flavor.

My fam LOVES bacon wrapped potatoes and they are easy peasy to make.

Quarter the potatoes, toss with salt and pepper and whatever other seasonings you prefer.
Cut bacon strips in half.
Wrap 1/2 a strip around each potato quarter and lay seam-side down on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 until potatoes are tender.

Dip in ranch, blue cheese or queso.

Total disagreement. I wouldn't let my dog eat baked bacon. Just one of the reasons I never get it in a restaurant, they invariably bake it because its easy and nowadays no one cares enough to do things right. Not this pathetic old man. They day I get so lazy that I cant properly fry my bacon wont come. This is my word.

Maybe I'm just being a Richard Wiffy, I don't know. It just seems to me that life is too short not to fry your bacon.

Guess I'm worse than the worse when it comes to this bacon thing, I buy the pre-cooked. 30-40 seconds in the micro and fagetaboutit. Though I sometimes miss that pan fried taste and using the bacon fat, just too much trouble.

And now my six degrees to Kevon bacon, well sorta. I'm enjoying his new show, "The Following", what a great edge of the seat new entry to network tv. Sometimes a little too graphic for my taste, but still really good tv.
