Many women don't even seem to visually appreciate the male body, anyway.
I'm one of those! I'm straight, but in the relationships I've been in, I've loved the men despite their bodies, not because of them. All that hair and lumpiness--when I can get past that and feel attracted to someone, I know it MUST be true love!
Good grief, no way, not sexy at all. I would never want to get a male stripper for myself and my friends know NOT to ever do that to me, but the times I've been forced to see them because I'm at a party or somewhere where they were planned, I can't help but sit and laugh, it's just so funny to see these men gyrate around and try to act sexy. It's pretty much the furthest thing from sexy IMO.
Not at all ever. Yes the magic mike guys were hot because I knew it wasn't real. But in real life, I don't care how hot a man is, it's an immediate turnoff for me.
I'm glad to see all these negative replies. I never have wanted to see one and never have. My next movie will be the new Oz one or the new LOTR one, whichever comes first. I know what a naked guy looks like and its no big deal, but then its hardly exciting.
I think women are more driven by the other qualities a guy can have, like loyalty and respect and fun, over being a gyro machine. Women tend to find written 'porn' far more exciting than pictures (why romance novels sell so well) and I think most women's fantasy's are far removed from a stripper.
I also think most women never exactly divulge their most intimate fantasy especially to men.
I know they tend to have visible muscle, and that I can appreciate because I enjoy exercise and I understand the effort it takes to achieve a particular look , but I'm not sexually attracted to it, if that makes sense.
Glad to hear everyone's responses, and how not sexy they think male strippers or what ever they call themselves are.
It makes me ( and probably a lot of other regular men ) feel good, because I look like a regular man.....muscles yes, lou ferrigno type, no......6 pack wash board abs, maybe 4, on a good day.
( but not today, as i just ate 2 dunkin donuts)

I would've just quoted TracySam's post, because it included portion of quote from Trimac20, and I agreed with both pieces-but that doesn't show up when I quote TracySam's, so I'm quoting them both separately here...if you follow.
I've never (knowingly) met a stripper, and when I see scenes in tv/film of people in strip clubs or at "hen nights" I feel embarrassed for all parties-the performers & the audience, as well as myself (I turn away, fast-forward, whatever). I'm not even addressing it at an intellectual level (or in the sense of "approve/disapprove"), as in "what do you *think* of this ?" but on a visceral, sensory level. It just doesn't do anything for me (as an individual hetero female).
Bodies in motion don't make me want to look at them, nor do I enjoy being teased/taunted (by spectacle of someone with whom I'm not involved). It's like window-shopping, temptation without gratification: not my idea of fun, but apparently lots of people enjoy this & willingly pay for the experience.
Leave aside the dance moves, just a still photo of a male stripper would elicit from me a reaction of "oh-I guess some folks are into that (which is fine & good for them), but no thank you".
I'm visual about faces-that's what attracts me to a guy. The body is mostly an afterthought, a vague scribble (I'm exaggerating to make my point)-so long as it's neither extremely fleshy nor extremely bony.
What is commonly considered "fit" physique doesn't catch my eye-instead it reminds me of this plastic figure from bio. class in school, called "The Visible Man". It was small figurine of a human, clear so you could see the inner workings of circulation & musculature. Scientific, sure-but attractive ? Not (to me).
