what's sad is that a guy can get laid by lying about his profession.
You beat me to it. I find it as sad for a guy to lie about his profession to get laid as much as it is for women to fall for this simply to have a fling with a guy they think is rich, has status, etc.
Sometimes I head out to bars with a few buddies and we invent stories to get girls in bed.
One of the best fables to tell is that you are a record producer - this usually does the trick.
being an accountant or banker also works quite well, though is harder to pull off as you do actually need some financial knowledge.

Hmmm...let me paraphrase:
"I am trying to find a good lie to tell a girl so I can get her in the sack, because I have no confidence in who I really am and have no intention of seeing her again."
So what you're saying is 1) Telling the truth is situational, 2) You can't imagine having a relationship longer than the 10 minutes it will take you to make the beast with two backs, and 3) You use people.
One other thing. For someone who spends a good deal of time over on the Religion forum worrying about the sexual morality of others, you don't seem to worry about it too much when it comes to your own behavior.

So you want to use manipulation to get women to have sex with you. Where does it stop? One 'white lie' turns into another. Next thing you know you own 2 jets, 4 houses, 2 summer homes over seas, and you lie and manipulate EVERYONE and everything.
There is no such thing as a 'little white lie'. Manipulators and con artists use that term to justify their actions to those that they confide in.
This is what is wrong with the world today.... for some reason or another, some men AND women do this all the time. And it screws everything up for the rest of us.
