What people think of certain individuals that coin the term of not using labels,or they do not label themselves, or just plain hate labeling things because they think society is this or that, bla bla bla bla, whatever junk they like too spew in order to deflect judgement of their character, or their actions.
Me personally I think that's their way of not taking criticism well,or they do not like sound judgement.
Take for a instance: A supposed "straight man" they sleeps with only men, and shemales, but does not consider himself gay, and will say along the lines of: "Labels are useless. I don't like using labels", but in reality he is saying he does not want to be called gay, because it hurts his ego, or his little feelings.
Me personally. I just think it's a huge contradiction within itself, and those people don't even realize it.
Any thoughts?

On a fundamental level, how we learn is by labeling through categorization. In that aspect, we label for the sake of chunking information.
It's not to say that labels are safe or okay, especially when we act on those generalizations/stereotypes and treat people accordingly.
In regards to not wanting to be associated with labels and acting hypocritically, like I wish not to be "associated with so and so" label, I think anytime anyone is angered over something, there is an ounce of truth to their behavior. They just deny it, and their inwards anger becomes internalized into a huge denial system (hence, we have addictions- sexual, drugs, work).
Yes. My thoughts are, that we need to think of humans as individuals and unique human beings, not sheep. As such, using labels is usualy counterproductive. Your example is silly, as gay isnt even a label. Its a sexual orientation. Most women thwart individualityby means of status chasing and facing insecurities of what others think, and want us to be all and the same, despite what they may claim. A soulful man is often persued by many women, for a good reason. Unless he is too strong of a person in his indivduality or uniqueness, in which case he becomes untouchable and is often sentenced to life in solitude. I know what im saying will confuse 99% of the posters, but if you spend time seeking truth, you will get there too.
Are you talking about sexual orientation or labels?
Sexual orientation is something that many gay people have a hard time coming to terms with because of their friends, family, and society in general. Coming out as gay may mean being cut off from your family, being discriminated against, losing friends, etc.
In terms of labeling people - I guess I just don't get the point.

People can still be labeled, and not be sheep.I think of labels, helping someone define who they are for other people's benefit. What I am saying is actions speak louder than words, and those people who do not like being label actions are speaking pretty loudly.
