You all are assuming the cow is for sale.

I'm also wondering where I can get milk for free, milk costs more per gallon than gasoline nowadays.

Man, I'm a guy and I hate that saying. I married my wife because she is a continual rush to be around at all times and in all ways, and I couldn't stand the idea of not having her in my life every possible minute. The fact that we scorch the sheets together is just gravy.

I hate the saying because not all of us live in a rural area where the cows are unguarded and we can get free milk.

I live in the city, I pay for my milk, there are no dairy cows anywhere near around here.

Not to mention I can't "buy a cow" in the first place, cows are large animals that need either feed or room to graze, and I have neither. There is no place for cattle in my small apartment.

It's a poor analogy, and it makes me a bit rustled.

This expression is uttered by people who actually think this way, intending to convince you that someone else does (usually a guy). "Guilty dog barks first" sort of thing. I never thought of women as "cows" who the main objective is to get "milk" from, but apparently one of my ex-girlfriends' dads did

Me neither, women are not farm animals nor are they pets.

This is just it. When guys find women they're really attracted to, for whatever qualities, and they're hot in bed, too, they're not going to let that one get away. They tend to push marriage far earlier than the woman is ready for. They don't want to risk losing the best thing that ever happened to them.

So if he's not buying the cow, it means either he's just not that into her, or he has emotional issues that prevent him from bonding, or whatever. It means the cow should jump the fence, and not look back.

I disagree unless I'm just an outlier.
