I've never really understood it. Everyone likes different things when looking at a partner. But I've seen people get attacked because their choices. I've seen people call women who don't like short men get called shallow for example, but to me if she doesn't like short men, that's her preference and she has a right to it

Preferences = OK

Preferences while slamming the people that don't match, stereotyping entire groups, etc = not OK.

They're all racist, sexiest, ageist, leftist, rightist, homophobic, heterophobic, etc, etc!

I will say it does suck when someone you're very attracted to doesn't want or like you because of your skin color, height, hair color, etc.

But then I get over it rather quickly.

Different values? Inability to see another point of view? Could be a couple, or many things at play.

I don't get it either. Life we would rather boring if we were all after the same thing.

It's not a big deal. Like I prefer non-smokers.

It's when they come back with "People who are short/have no hair/democrat/republican/have beards aren't actual people." Or something to that nature. That's when I Light them up.
