Really depends on how mature she is. She could be 22 and completely mature and serious about life and she could be freaking loser moron looking for a fun time and a guy to support her. Maturity level matters more than age difference.
A few threads here have discussed age gaps between people who are in relationships, and what is an appropriate number of years before things get too weird, think a 30-year-old man dating an 18-year-old girl. I developed a factor (1.18) that anyone can divide or multiply by his/her own age to give what MIGHT be described as an appropriate age range for potential people to be in a relationship with. I think most "normal" people would agree that as we age, larger age gaps are more appropriate than when we are younger, for a variety of reasons, and a factor allows for a flexible range. So here is my "acceptable" range for relationship age gaps (and I even think that it may be a little conservative, except at the lower end of the scale as I don't think young people in their 20s should be dating high school students). What do you think?
It is about what is relative for your age. When you are 15 years old you don’t date a ten year old but when you are 35 years old you may date an n 30 or 40 year old. I don’t have to date but if I had to it would be within five years up or down. Sadly, women who are five years older than me are almost always wants to be mothers within a few years so I think I would look a few years below my own age.
