Very true! I say go for the best you can (and want to be). Oh and of course....nobody's perfect!
Sometimes I look and think "no way" and then other times I just scratch my head. But hey, people with my measurements (and height range) can easily range between 30 pounds lighter than me to 30 pounds heavier....so oh well.

It depends on the situation, are both overweight or disgusting? Honey Boo Boos dad is pretty gross himself, with all that chew slime hanging around his lips.
Every person has their tolerance point, if my husband looked like Sugar Bear, I'd gain weight to keep him away.
I think it should be changed to 'partners', because I've noticed FAR more men letting themselves go than women. I mean, after women have kids their bodies are changed forever...some will be lucky enough to get super skinny and buff again, but many will become simply average, which is fine. What are men's excuses?
I've also found that many of the men complaining that their wives/girlfriends have 'let themselves go' aren't exactly Adonis' themselves.
they will walk around with these gigantic stomachs and their shorts are underneath the stomach because they're so big. That's 'acceptable and allowed' but the women can't even age, God forbid.
