I can't stop laughing about this one but it strangely concerned me. My dad was telling me years ago the guy I am interested in tried to get permission to sell tacos on his front porch but was denied. He owns a store now but can't get over the taco selling idea so he is adding it to his store (he sells pet food).
Would he go in your not date list? I have to admit it concerned me but at the same time it shows he's got a business mind. I probably should be more concerned he has lived with his mom most of his adult life.
Hm. In your case, I'd say it's in the past, so it doesn't matter. Or is he planning to sell hot tacos from his store? Some service stations have fast food like that. Maybe it's not so bizarre. I'd put the emphasis on getting to know him as a person, first, see how well his qualities match up with you, and then decide if this is trivial by comparison, or not.
btw, have you two gotten together yet, had anything resembling a date?

No, still haven't gotten together but will see him hopefully this weekend and will spend time with him at a Halloween party. I think I am going to be gutsy (with help from a drink)and let him know I am interested. That way if he's not interested I'll know but if he is then he will ask me out (hopefully). I'm thinking by porch he means his store which is next to his house but I may ask him.
I should probably add that a man who could offer an essentially endless supply of tacos would win my heart (and my soon-to-be-obese tush) forever.
