If he does not want to pay rent on two buildings for the tacos, he should seriously invest in a food truck. That would be a better sell than tacos made in a pet store surely.

I agree. I probably wouldn't eat the pet food store tacos without taking an inventory of all the pets first.

Only issue is if this was one of those childish ideas that's an idea for the sake of having a business idea and not well thought out, think the movie "Step Brothers"

I think it would not be so bad as long his long term goal was to move to a brick and mortar building or a food truck as soon as financially possible besides, you would never go hungry.
