I agree with the above that it's best not to interrupt her workout. Talk to her after she's finished with her last set.

If you ever see her on a cardio machine you can get on the machine next to her and talk. If she's going at a low intensity. But if she does cardio it would be best to talk to her during her cool-down.

If she's like me she won't want anyone striking up a conversation with her during her workout. Not even in between sets, because my rest between sets (and probably hers too) is only 30-90 seconds.

My GF works out at a women's only gym, i was just under the impression they are out there if you want to find them. Maybe they're not as readily available as i assumed.

That's a load of nonsense right there. So by virtue of going to a coed gym, you are putting yourself on the market?

Really? Why would a man go to a mens only gym, that makes no sense.

One thing I have learned in this thread. People go to coed gym in order to look for potential mates. No other reasons at all like working out, convenient location, good equipment, equipment availability, price....

I go there to lift really heavy weights. Casual gyms do not have the safety equipments to support these heavy weights, nor do they support that heavy. This gym has many of its bars and dumbells as thick grip, which women can't normally handle.

The gym owner made this gym mens only because he believes women are a distraction.

I really like the gym though, and I am not going to switch.

Yes, I know women go to the gym to work out, and so do I! I would be nice to meet and possibly date someone who is into lifting too, so where else than the gym?

That is what I don't understand about the people who respond so negatively to that. I want to meet someone who shares my lifestyle!

I like a couple of the previous comments. Either catch her between a set or after she is finished. Don't pass up an opportunity out of fear of interrupting. If she gets pissed when u approach her than who freaking cares. She isnt interested. you wont know till u try. Go for it.
