Why would I keep pursuing her if she's not single?
You wouldn't. Or atleast you shouldn't. If she's not single you just move on. If she is then you can decide whether to pursue the possibility of going out with her. Or not. Your choice.
Say something like "Ohh ok no problem have a nice day"?
Thanks
No. Just act like it doesn't phase you at all. You don't want to have a bad reaction. If anything just change the subject or go along with it like "so how long have you and him been together?" ect.
this reminds me of the guy next door to us trying to pick up my wife over the coarse of a few weeks when we first moved to this location.
he ended up disappearing off the face of the earth after she told him she was married. she took no offense to him asking her out eventually..it happens, that's life. no big deal.
the guy though...holy hell, he avoids us like we want to kill him now. ive seen him tuck tail and run inside when i come home. he either thinks i want to kill him for asking my wife out (which i don't at all lol) is life shatteringly embarrassed my wife turned him down/he asked out a married women, or both.
