Well, when I lived in the city, I lived in a studio apartment so there was no room. Plus - my husband would never let me. But I did make them lunches sometimes and gave them a few dollars when they asked (even though I didn't want to because they were alcoholics). The thing is - I do nice things for strangers AND the people I'm close to.

lol, in HS this girl literally tried to couch me how to eat before she'd show me to her parents. Even then she'd jab me when I'd start reverting to my usual table manners.

Her response was always: WERE YOU RAISED BY WOLVES

I'm from Los Angeles. My places are usually tiny.

I have lol. I slept in the dirt with/next to a homeless bud (at the Tufts outdoor pools) one night because I refused to take him home with me (again). I knew quite a few homeless people when I was a street artist.

Not that small at all. I have lived in less. In fact there was a period I lived out of my car. I used to crash this country club and sneak into their showers.

My funniest memory of that period (about 1 year): was making out with a girl and she just replies: take me back to your place. LOL little did she know

When I said that I figured you'd respond lol.

But I have the feeling with you, it's more tied to your image. With me, it's general empathy. A lot of people do nice things for me and I pay it forward. But now we're getting off topic....

That word, like "feminazi" is thrown out far too much in general.

So you and this homeless person slept on top of each other, or what? Or did you spend the night in the car while he used the bed?

Exactly what type of association are we talking about here? Did you pull a suffering unmedicated schizophrenic off the street and offer him your bed? Or was it a friend or something? Because I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a single person who has never put a friend or acquaintance up during hard times, or would.
