Not sure why she is crazy but the reason see has lots of takers is... Well if you've even been with a crazy girl, you would know for sure. "It's" real good!
Everybody has hormones, not just women. For some reason women get called crazy for a couple hormonal surges a month whereas men have hormonal surges daily.
Yes I know. They also have male pms. Which is called SR.
Why do you care? It's her life. It should speak volumes of her character the way she discarded her son. No one I would want to associate with, that's for sure.
Calling her a "girl" when she is in her late 30s is puzzling.
Adding: As far as the question in the title of this thread topic - there are plenty of bad and immature men as well. It goes both ways.
Ran across a girl in her late 30's who has a 3 year old son she dosen't have custody of or ever talks about. She was engaged to a guy, but then broke it off because he wanted to dump his credit card debt on her. However, she still wore the engagement ring for a year. She runs away from a descent guy that cared about her after she initiated the relationshiop into the arms of a married player. Then after she fails to find love there she returns to the descent guy who then showed her the door. So now six months later she marries someone else. This girl has a very high libido and loves talking about sex. She jokes, herself about her being a bad girl.
How is it this girl can be married? I am so confused. What is it this girl is looking for? Can anyone tell me?

Before you judge, she, herself, called herself 'bad' and called me a 'good' guy. She was implying that I was unusual for her because most of her guys are more self-involved. Here's also a little more to the story, if your curious:
1) to be fair, I don't know why she dosen't have custody of her child and she does have a picture of him on her desk. I just thought it is strange for the mother of a 3 year old child to never, ever mention him in 4 years. She talks about movies she's seen and general small talk but nothing about him.
2) I have seen her drink till she passes out twice and she has a DWI.
3) The player that she dumped me for, came to my office knowing I liked her and said, "I screwed her and there is nothing you can do about it." He constantly goes around chest pounding, cheats on his wife and kids, lies to his wife about gambling and does anything in skirt without a 2nd thought. He has no education or skills. He had no respect for her or me or himself and lives only to stroke his ego. But he is fun, so she chose this guy. I have seen her hug him and call him her 'buddy'.
Given all this, I still cared. Someone told me I have a White Knight syndrome and that is probably about right. Some say women like this were abused or neglected as a child which leads to this kind of behavior. I asked because I feel bad she ran from me and I couldn't help. When she did come back, I sent her packing and feel bad about that know. I should have been a bigger man but getting dumped and dissed by her jerk bf didn't sit too well with me. I was nice, just told her I was no longer interested even though I was. I just thought she couldn't be trusted, no matter how much I cared.

Sorry for stating the obvious, but a decent guy knows how to spell "decent". White knights are door mats, not decent guys. Not in womens' eyes anyway.
