The point of these threads is to try to discuss solutions and try to figure out which of them may work
A lot of the solutions offered have been ridiculous - one guy told me to move...from a job I just got and from a place I'm very very happy with. That's not a real solution
You guys told me to go yoga classes at my gym...where it's like 95% women in their late 30s and 40s. Not a solution
I need solutions that work and that don't involve immense amount of awkwardness
There was also: go to a local meetup group - one poster even posted one for people who like sports/exercise; there was volunteering; there was talk to someone at your gym; there was have your friends set you up; there was have the females in your life set you up; there were also self-help books suggested.
What is it that you would consider "good suggestions"?

grow a pair of balls, talk to women ... ask them out.

I didn't turn down the local groups or volunteering. They're not bad ideas, it's just tough to fit anything else in to my current schedule
The self help books are going to be of no value. I've read SOOOOO much PUA material - it all just preaches the same common sense social skills that I've known for a while

There really isn't one it seems like. I guess all I can do is keep an eye out for any women that seem to be interested in me (which is very rare) and try to talk to them
What I'm guessing will happen is that I'll be here complaining for the next 5 years as I'll be forever alone. At that point, I'm just going to have to go overseas and get myself what's basically a mail order bride.
Yea that's no surprise. Dating can be incredibly difficult
