kinda comes with the position of being a business owner and having an office of 98% females
the hole "phenomenon" of taken girls always being more attractive tends to be because they are more open and less guarded when in happy relationships. they have no reason to care what some dude thinks about them when they have a man at home already taking care of them.

I have some cute coworkers. Things can just get so complicated dating a coworker though. I'm not sure I'd want to go there. It would really suck to break up and then have to see them everyday.
It's more than that it's awkward seeing the other person. If that person is acrimonious about the break-up, they can sabotage your work life. I dated a guy in a different department. It didn't work out for various reasons. I was happy to let bygones be bygones, but the guy told everyone I worked with what a horrible bee-atch and shameless $lut I was. I didn't think it could have happened, but my co-workers sided with him and I became a pariah overnight. To add insult to injury, his new girlfriend became my supervisor. She hated me for - I don't know what, having been the previous girlfriend? It wasn't like I was still after him! But she made my life as hard as she could for a very long time. (I still have revenge fantasies about that one!)
That said, I've often dated co-workers. I find you can get to know people better when you see them in action, and there's something more intrinsically attractive about guys (for me) when they're engaged in something other than impressing me. Working with a guy on a project together can be hot in a way that just going to bars with the same person might not be.
Anyway - the last guy I dated at work is now my dear hubby, so yes, it can work out.
No, I wouldn't say that it always happens, but it has happened with a few. There's one who drives me nuts whenever I see him (I've been obsessed with him for a few years) but unfortunately, we don't work together anymore so I don't see him often AND he is married.

There's this woman I work with who is pretty much one of the two dimes I've encountered in my life. Her looks are flawless, her brains are full of intelligence, and her personality is just like her looks. I can't take my eyes off her during the day.
