When was the best time for women, in terms of all social relationships with men...friendships, sex, marriage, dating, etc...?
1950s? 1960s? 1970s? 1980s? 1990s? 2000-now? Why?

The era before patriarchal culture took over what archaeologists call "Old Europe". Sometime before approx. 2000 BC. On the island of Crete, the matriarchal Minoan culture lasted to 1500 BC.
I wasn't aware that there was a best decade for each entire sex...
When I first saw the thread, I thought it was asking what each person's best decade of their life was.
To that, I would say my 30s. More self-assured than in my 20s and less "realistic" than when crossing the 40 threshold, with decent disposable income, doing a lot of traveling, and my tolerance of friend's/people's BS a little higher.
I was just a little kid in the 70's, but it sure seemed like it was the best... at least in terms of just casual sex. Til the early 80's when AIDS put a damper on that....
]Feminism is trying to stop fathers from getting hurt in custody situations[/b] by attempting to lessen society's hold on this 'women need to raise children', 'it's womans job to raise children', 'having a vagina makes you the (better) caregiver', and such.
By lessening the hold on those notions they give way for the father role to be seen as equally important and for men to be seen as needed to raise children. With such a perception it's far less likely that gals would by default be given custody because they have a vagina and thus presumed to be the better caregiver.
Some feminists are trying to mandate paternity tests. So yeah it evens out to me sort of like some men rape women and some men don't.
No they aren't. If they did, they would support shared custody laws.

Raises hand. I support shared custody. Not sure what laws you are suggesting. There needs to be the ability to decide by case based on the situation, what is best for the kid. But the presumption should be parental equality.

That was what the bill stated, but of course the feminists didn't want to pass that.
There is no one United Organization for FEMINISTS.
NOW represents the viewpoints of the majority of feminists.
