Most likely since he's a guy he approached me based on attraction and I doubt guys approach gals they find average so I see no reason for me to do what he didn't. No different than I don't see much reason in a pretty gal overlooking an ugly guy's appearance when he most likely approached her because she was pretty.
As well as in my opinion most guys personality are essentially the same- they want to bust a nut and they want their egos pandered to.

I would love to see a pic of a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, .....10. I am not sure I even know the difference.
It's all subjective. To me, a "5" is just average- not particularly good-looking and not particularly bad-looking (anything under a "5" would be in the unattractive category). A "6" is kind of cute, but not someone who would really stand out. A "7" would turn my head. An "8" would really turn my head. I never see 9's and 10's in real life, so that's unrealistic to me.
I think most of the women who responded are lying.
I do too. There's always been this "false front" here that the women (a) are into a good personality, (b) income doesn't matter, and (c) size doesn't matter. Really? Talk to a woman and read between the lines, IRL, and you'll find out differently.
People like to date within their general numerical attractiveness level. Water seeks its own level. I answered NO.
