I tend to avoid Facebook a lot because I feel ostracized online because of my single status. Everyone is married, engaged or with someone. I just found out my younger cousin is now getting married and it is upsetting me. It's one thing that almost everyone around my age is married but now people 10-20 years younger than me are getting married. I know if taco man doesn't like me I will never find anyone and it depresses me.

Yes I like cats which is a good thing.

When I read that I had to get off the site. It's bad enough most of my cousins are married, now the much younger ones are getting married too. Meanwhile I suck at dating.

I feel your pain, although a lot of my FB friends are single too. I just get annoyed with the ones who throw their relationship in your face. One of my guy friends had been single for a long time, but as soon as he got into a relationship, every picture, status, and check in he posted was about him and this girl. It was overkill, but they broke up after a few months. lol

Yeah, I can't stand those couples who have to post on each other's walls for everyone to see how much they love each other.

I actually think FB is better for single people than for people in relationships/engaged/married. FB can ruin relationships and marriages. Well, its not good for someone who has other girlfriends on the side who all have FB accounts and can find out about each other. That is why many players don't have FB. A lot of drama could happen.

Facebook and things like that make everyone seem like their lives are happy and great....but, most times, perception isnt anything close to reality.
