Agree, I'm a disgruntled comcast customer and they never say when they'll be there, just a window of time. I'd say I'd have more hate for comcast over this than her pushing it back 30 minutes.

Just think about how frustrated SHE is that she feels she has to push a date back that evening. Instead of meeting a new guy she's been talking to her has to sit at her apartment for 2 hours hoping the comcast guy even shows up in the first place (I've had that happen to me).

See even you know something doesn't sound right

They actually do! I was extremely pleased to find this out.

I think all cable companies are like that.

Hey if she really wanted to cancel the date she would have. Obviously TVSG intrigued her somewhat so she's still holding to the date, just a half hour later, which is centuries in TVSG's world.

If Comcast comes right at the end of the window, there is no way that the date is happening until at least 8pm.

I would set a more realistic time in stone and if she breaks it, don't worry about it and move on.

Ah ha! That's it. You figured it out. Tomorrow is Saturday, not Sunday (which they came for you), so she obviously has some sort of wicked scheme cooked up. You are wise to figure this out.

A half hour is no big deal unless you have a curfew.

I miss the days when I met someone online and it was issues scheduling the date. We set a time, a location and we were there.

But I will see what happens tomorrow.

Yes, I've had them out on the weekend before.

Here's a thought: maybe she didn't mention it until last night because it was supposed to happen today, something came up and she had to reschedule and tomorrow evening is the only window that worked for her schedule. Also, cable and internet can-and do-go out at any time, usually when it's not convenient, in my experience.

I seriously doubt she's playing games.

Then she should have used her ESPN to predict this in order to avoid messing up TVSG's schedule.
