Today, I wore a sweater dress and a pair of tights. I'm a tall girl (5'9) so the dress stopped at mid thigh. I personally didn't mind this , and thought I looked my age and cute. I came home, my mother saw what I had on. She said I looked "easy" and was not pleased.
I'm 18, I'm not gonna get into the whole "I can wear whatever I want, I'M GROWN!" argument.
So le question is: Do you think short skirts/dresses make someone come off as easy? Yes? No? I don't think so because the "easiest" girls I ever "knew" wore very casual clothes, only worse skirts/dresses on formal occasions.
I haven't heard that phrase about women used in decades.
For the record, I agree that short skirts (and mid-thigh isn't really "short") make looking at a woman's legs easy.
How old is your mother, by the way, and how religious is she? Wonder what she would have thought about the braless look of 30 or so years ago? Damn, I miss the good old days.
No, short skirts don't make you look "easy". REALLY short skirts, the black spandex ones that barely cover the essentials, like the ones that are popular in Russia, make you look like you're for sale. But a sweater dress the length you describe sounds fashionable. The test would be if you feel self-conscious in it, and have to tug at it all the time, or when you sit down.
Was that your mother, or your grandmother? I bet your mother wore short skirts when she was younger. Unless you're in the Bible Belt.
I have in my life genuinely fell for a couple of women who could be considered 'easy'. They ended up hooking up with a number of men after rejecting me and that really hurt.
That was not a whine. It was an observation. Lol.
