Should there be a equal amount of chasing & being chased during a relationship? Or should one persue more then the other?
It doesn't have to be equal, literally. That said, there has to be interest coming from both sides. If you've gone out with someone a few times and that person never contacts you except as a response to your initial contacts, it's almost certainly over.
Maybe chasing is the wrong word. And i don't agree, it's not always going to be equal, sometimes it take some panache. I'm a guy, and have found that some woman like to be sought after, and charmed into a relationship.
Doesn't mean there's anything wrong with em.

As a woman, I will say it is nice when a guy you like seeks you out and charms you.
I prefer an equal balance. If I am chased too much I feel smothered. If I chase too much I feel desperate. I like to balance the power in a relationship right from the get go.

It should be equal and without criminal intent e.g: not chasing your SO with your car on a public sidewalk.
