The truth is that people normally test you because they have had bad experiences before in dating and/or relationships, been hurt etc. However, in my opinion, one should not bring their old baggage into their present dating life, it creates extra stress and drama that nobody needs.
I hate when men try to consciously or unconsciously test me. This mostly happened in the area of creating artificial jealousy scenes. When I realize that I am being tested, I act exactly the way that they expect me to act - like super jealous, super neurotic, but then I never go out with them again. Bottom line, have trust and don't test, it's rude, give the person a chance to show who they are.
