So, I'm sitting here...and there's this group of girls that are in my peripheral. I honestly didn't notice them until they looked over their shoulders and looked at me (two of them)...
And the prettier one of the group looked again, later.
I'm just about to get up and leave....
It's a community library and it's 3 girls. Can't just blind approach in those circumstances....
I don't feel like an idiot yet, but I'm going to in the immediate future.

Because if her friends don't like you then your screwed. She has to have thier approval more then likey, that's why women hang out in groups.
People who whine all day on forums don't desire it badly enough to go out there and get it. Just admit you don't want a GF and be done with it.
OP, either do it or don't do it. What you're doing right now (indecision about what you want....then beating yourself up about it) is the worst thing you can do and way more difficult that simply approaching the girls.

You didn't talk to her for a bit and ask for it. I feel you about not approaching girls in a pack, but it don't mean I don't look for an in-road such as a interesting book in common.
yeah the bad thing is that you don't have to woo the friends to get anywhere. They will see you and if you arn't good looking enough or what the friends would go for, then they won't approve and hence you won't get the girl you like. I think it's messed up you have to bbe attractive to everyone in the group just to get one person since not everyone has the same tastes obviously.
