They always say stuff like "my curves are beautiful, not every man is into a stick thin woman" or they say "you don't have to be stick thin to be attractive", etc... What I don't get is why they seem to think that everybody is either obese or anorexic
What happened to a happy medium where you are in shape/healthy but also have nice curves (hips/thighs,etc...)? Why is everything so black and white?
Actually I have known a LOT of men who were "chubby chasers."
I take more offense to the "men like" part of those statements. But as you know I don't think it's valid or logical to talk about what everyone of a gender likes. Some men like this, some like that. Some few even like really extreme levels of obesity. The proof is in the pr@n...
I dont understand big women either. We all know what it takes to get into shape but some folks wont do it. They will do everything like drinking shakes, taking pills except for cardio. You dont have to be in tip top shape but some kind of decent shape. The worst ones are the ones who say that they just had a kid, but then you find out the kid is almost 6 years old lol
I thought the question asked would of been why don't people who say that ("My curves are beautiful") go nuts over BIGGER partners with their own curves?
Mainly thinking about someone I know specifically, who says that about themselves but is into "buff" guys..
no, having a kid permanently changes a woman's body
Probably an evolutionary trait, as after childbirth, keeping that little bundle of the mother's genes alive is all that matters from evolution's standpoint, and it only the body keeping as much fat as possible helps, since the Mom needs to feed the baby and survive.

Sounds like she has good taste.
A buff dude and a thick woman are the perfect couple. Nice and healthy and vibrant. The last thing the world needs are skinny nerds sniffeling and complaining about the taste of their water; life needs some COJONES! Live a little, get some oomph!
I have a few bigger friends and I love them to death. However, I do take issue with them getting mad whenever they express interest in a guy, the guy indicates that he's not into them, and then when they proceed to call him shallow for not liking girls who 'embrace their curves'. First of all, you shouldn't knock someone's preferences. Second, a lot of times the women who say these things aren't exactly 'healthy' curvy- they're bordering on being obese. They don't understand that not every guy wants a BBW woman, and many men who want a 'curvy' woman want a curvy woman who is in a healthy BMI range.
Pretty skinny? She is like 5'5 135. She's perfect to me but she's definitely on the thicker side
I think you calling her "thick" is what's wrong with our culture. She's not. The woman in the leopard bikini is "thick" and she still looks good.
