Why would women think I'm gay?
A deep masculine voice? Like this guy?

I am not intimidated often. Being attractive (either sex) doesn't phase me.

I don't think I'm intimidated by every attractive lady but a true knockout around who is in great shape...yea it's definitely a little intimidating

Maybe my poor lack of vision has served me well.

I treat everyone equal, attractive, overweight, skinny, old, young, blah blah.

We eventually all get old and gray and in the end, it's the person inside I either click with or don't.

Looks have nothing to do with it. Maybe life experiences and how it's shaped people for whom they are today is more important.

Easier to judge a book by it's cover rather than to walk in another person's shoes.

Why you going for these "knockout" women? Just talk to your average girl. Your shooting for the stars, when your average woman might be shy around you!

I was once killing time chatting with a guy in an East Village bar who looked like Tom Cruise (even had the shortness) with a lime green stylishly tight T shirt. He spoke in a calm smart voice. 20 minutes into the conversation he mentioned he's straight but I simply assumed he was gay the entire time! I guess the point is that nowadays assumptions have a higher fail rate because it's getting harder to "tell"

F.y.i the East Village NYC is like 75 percent straight 25 percent gay. The old gay mecca, the WEST Village is now roughly 10 percent gay (probably less) down from 95 percent or so.

Agreed. I've seen these straight guys that I thought had to be gay wearing nice good looking clothes and had some muscles. Then his girl walks in and start kissing. I guess he could be bi. OP....I think females think your gay. Most gay guys will look real stylish and try to show off their physique...straight guys throw on a polo that was on the ground 2 days ago before going to a club or bar.
