You don't care about it until you are not getting any
I think this is why people who have had normal lovelives don't understand why forever alone guys feel so miserable and lonely. To them, it's just such a normal part of life (like breathing or eating) that they don't know how bad it is to go an extended period of time without those things
Thoughts?
I think it tends to be a bigger problem for men, in that we often have weaker social support networks than women. Women on their own often have lots of close friends to turn to when they feel frustrated and lonely. Men often have fewer friends and shallower friendships. We are loath to admit emotional pain to our male fiends, fearing it will mark us as weak.
