But seriously - you've made it this far in life being short. I've made it this far in life with certain attributes I don't like about myself. If it's something you can conceivably change, do so. Your height isn't - without seriously intrusive surgery and a great deal of resulting pain. You have a successful relationship, a good career, a great social network, seem intelligent enough. Be thankful. Some people don't have any of those things. If you can't get over your insecurities by focusing on the good things, then it may dip into a self-esteem issue, in which case therapy or many self-help books may be of assistance for you.
