Like everything else, not all sorority girls are cut from the same cloth. Shocking as it may sound, I've never once paraded a man in front of my sisters for a consultation as to his worthiness. Don't plan to in the future either.

Please stuff the UK stuff, because it doesn't have anything to do with the equation. Nothing. The problem in this one is you: saying you would not date someone is NOT an insult ... it's a personal preference to which one is entitled.
If you cant accept honest opinions don't post threads.
Maybe she was considering you as a sperm donor or going to a clinic for same
or
Maybe she was considering adoption as a single parent
or
Maybe she was pregnant
(BTW the term "childfree" is less pejorative, IMO.)
Childfree and Childless are two completely different things, I am "ChildFREE because my children are grown and have their own families; my neighbor is ChildLESS because she has no children and has never had children. The truth is the truth and somethings you just cannot make "Idiotically Correct".
Having seen who she picked to marry the first time and the second time, I'm totally ok with that. I know I would have looked better matched to her than either of them. If I could have only put up with how boring she was.
