I'm 23 and have a 42 year old lady as a FWB situation. She's divorced and has 3 kids (they live with her husband because her husband lives in a better school zone - she has her own house) so she's not looking for anything terribly serious. We mainly just hang out and bang - last time I just went over with some wine, we had a few drinks and banged afterwards. It's a lot of fun and she's fun to hang out with. She loves having sex with me - always compliments me
Anyways, what I'm wondering is if this is destructive to my goal of finding a girlfriend? This is making me VERY complacent. I don't try at all to find somebody and don't even care much anymore. When I go out, I mainly just hang out with my friends and don't care at all about meeting girls. As much as people like to say "when you stop trying is when you find somebody", that's complete nonsense. When you stop trying is when you don't find anybody at all
What do you guys think?

Your FWB is certainly distracting you from finding a gf. Of course, you are young so what's the hurry to find one, anyway? I was married at your age, which was a huge mistake - at least for me. I'd undo that choice if I could.
IMO, have fun for a few more years, don't get serious about anyone until then, and decide for yourself if the FWB is compatible with your plans and anticipated timelines in the meantime.
Desperate men accept desperate measures. If you have to come on to the forum to get opinions about a married woman with 3 kids who lives with ex husband, you are truly doomed.
I think, for her sake, you should end the relationship.
By Zeus, you referred to her as a 'MILF'
Just..
let her go man
