Interesting. Titles aren't everything, but after a few months and if I'm exclusive with someone I'd like to be called girlfriend. If a guy really likes a girl I think he wants to give her the title because he wants it to be clear that she is taken by him and no longer available. If you have to beg a guy to give you the title then you should probably just give up because he's not that into you anyway or he would make it official without you nagging him.

Um so in otherwords most titles mean squat? Bull. If a man is in any kind of relationship that is the police tape I won't go through.

Yes, girlfriend and boyfriend. Even adults, such as my friends' parents do that, if they are widowed or divorced, and are now exclusive with someone. And if you're married, it's husband and wife. The "partner" word needs to GO, at least in social interactions.

Or the wife checks the husbands email.

Damn that's just a whole mess in itself.

Default On a Slight Tangent.....

What do you call a relationship where they are living together? My wife has a problem with our son in such a relationship, where he says they are "dating." We think it's more than just "dating."
