It's dull here today. Let's get into something juicy.

My first and only real "love" interest was a girl back in high school who just so happened to believe in waiting until marriage. Knowing that, I felt somewhat like a perv for thinking about, well, you know

In college I got to explore more of my sexuality. I finally grew into myself so to speak and became much more relaxed around women in general. It was a new start away from the kids you grew up with and knew most of your life. I had a few ONS for the wrongs reasons of succumbing to peer pressure of not wanting to be a virgin any longer. I developed a couple of different FWB's that were strictly FWB's and nothing more (one being the cliche older woman who takes a young guy under her wing and gives him some direction).

And I don't know where this is really going, as I've lost my train of thought and need to get back to work. So somebody take over, please. I guess what I'm trying to say is there is far too great of a stigma placed on women for how soon and how often they are intimate with a relative stranger.

And that stigma is usually promoted by people who don't get laid as much as they would like, have nothing better to do with their lives than worry about what other people do, or have some kind of religious fanaticism that leads them to moralize sex between two consenting adults.

Now, now... We both know I'm on the Jesus kool-aid. I just don't elevate sex over any other sin.

I thought the stigma was promoted by guys who hold a double standard, sleeping around themselves but judging loose women.

Too many generalizations to keep up with on City-data forums, and in real life.

I think what he is trying to say is related to the double standard of men having frequent partners without knowing them long being looked up to yet women are branded negatively for it. One of the many oft talked about topics related to double standards regarding men as compared to women.

I can't think of much else today, I have lots of activity like e-mails, phone calls, work stuff today, I will check back later. : )

I agree that this stigma is created by the double standard guys.

The stereotype created by the guys who don't get enough is the one where all women can be super selective, and that you have to have a ton in the bank, be rolling in a Benz, and have the looks of the upper 1% to even THINK about getting laid. (Even then, you have to have "it" too, some mysterious man-ness that the sex starved man lacks, because of course he always has the required looks, bank, and Benz.

What I'm trying to say is that women can be great in bed and also be a girl you'd want to settle down with. They aren't mutually exclusive. I just haven't been fortunate enough to find the women that is both (that has wanted anything to do with me).
