In short, it was more of issues regarding adjusting to the local culture.

Well, you've lived in the Puget Sound area, so you know you can't act like a "Northeastern corridor" Irish, Italian or Greek person, and expect people to welcome you with open arms. They want you to tone it down and walk on eggshells.

She was much happier in Boston from the reports I got.

The last time I bought one of these, it set me back $4.50 and it was mostly ice. And this was in a diner-pub near Tacoma WA ... aka "the aroma of Tacoma" or "Tacky-oma."

The Northeast culture is markedly different from the Pacific Northwest culture. That is something I know.

I'm more of a coffee and tea kind of person. Once in a while I might have an imported beer(mainly Pilsner Urquell), or a glass of wine.

They don't taste that alcoholic. I also think it depends on how the bartender mixes it.
