For some unexplained reason older women are told that divorced men are so terrific and we should date them instead of never married men our age. Why, no idea. Anyway, when it comes to divorce I would only consider men who were married civilly like at a courthouse. I don't consider men married in church unless (and only unless)they were annulled. Otherwise? probably not.
When it comes to divorce with kids though I only believe in divorce if there was abuse or cheating. Otherwise no, they are lacking morals and the idea that people tell me to date these men insults my religion and my morals.
On this site, several told me that I should date divorced dads (and divorced men in general)because they have experience. I would respond if they are so good why are they divorced and failed? Especially when it comes to divorced dads, these guys failed at something that is going to hurt the kids, what would be a good thing about them?

I see people as individuals.
Some divorced dads are certainly 'better' than some never married guys.

Oh, I get it. So you want to date someone who is incapable of failure. I know TONS of men (people) like that.
Well, you have your preferences - nothing wrong with that if you're happy with them. The only limit I see is that older women will find that there are few men their age who have never been married (or match your special cases), who want to get married, who are also desirable mates, and who will find you desirable as well. Of course, you only have to find ONE from that limited pool of candidates.
Well, I never failed at marriage so yes I want someone who also didn't fail.
Have you tired?
Or are you simply judging someone for failing at something you have not experience doing yourself?
