In my humble opinion, you only want to send him such a text because you want him to beg you not to end things. If you were really done with him you'd delete him out of your phone and never contact him again. Period.

This guy has shown you time and time again that you aren't a priority in his life. You've given him numerous chances to redeem himself and he always disappoints you. I feel for you. It's VERY hard when you're hung up on someone to just let it go and move on, but that's exactly what you have to do.
