There's exceptions to everything in life. I can't cover every exception on Earth like people expect me to do.

They went for people in their own league. I think half the time (or more) when someone complains that women don't go for guys unless they are great looking, it's because they themselves are going for women way out of their league. It's not some big revelation that beautiful people who can attract other beautiful people will choose them over people they don't consider attractive, all other things being equal.

If I were going to open a Chevy dealership, I would not do so in Beverly Hills, because people who can afford cream of the crop are not going to (in general) go for a Chevy. If I did, and my business failed, I wouldn't blame the very rich people for being shallow and not wanting what I was selling, I'd learn my lesson and do a better job matching what I have to offer with the reality of who will want it.

Don't be fooled. Women are far more concerned about looks than any man. Not only for their mate but themselves as well. Otherwise Maybelline and other cosmetic companies wouldn't be raking in billions. It's not a knock on women or saying it's wrong but women in general are far more superficial than men.

Id agree with this since many will pick a shoe[heels] over a man if he happens to be slightly shorter then her in a pair..talk about vanity

Looks matter for both genders but less so for women, because a mans' genetic worth is not purely measured in what he looks like but in what he does and how he acts. A man's worth to society in general is measured along the same lines; it's his utility that's important.
