I don't get pictures in the bathroom mirror (just get a friend to take your picture... or if for some reason you are embarrassed about online dating, use the timer function and take a shot). Also, the "while driving" picture. What's up with that?

I only tried online dating for a little over a month before I threw in the towel (was getting messages from men I had nothing in common with... or better yet, ones who lived halfway across the country. I am looking to date, not have an online relationship and I didn't want to spend all that money to spin my wheels answering messages). But something I learned that I will pass on to other women (and men too when I think of it), include not only a head shot to who your face, but also a recent full body shot. You still get the weirdo responses, but you also get more serious responses too.

I do like silver cars. My old car was an 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix. It was a fast thing. My teen years had a Monte Carlo SS Supersport and84 Mustang. Now I have SUV. Lol

Yes this can be problematic sometimes. And it's embarrassing having to ask, 'so which one are you?' I see it often with fb profile pics too. A pic of two people, equally focused on both, and you don't know which is which. You have to look through their profile photos to see.

The worst is when women post several pictures of their face and claim to be average on their profile. They look cute in their pics , But when you meet up on a date you discover that average means 30lbs overweight. Now she's only good for a one night stand or FWB, but you had your hopes up that you might have found someone worth dating.

I can deal with those, but I see lots of guys post pictures of just their dog (usually a pitbull) or they'll post a pic of some tattoo covered body part. No thanks to both! Your face should be clearly visible in every shot (no baseball caps or sunglasses) and you should include full body shots. Based on a previous experience, I need to verify that you have functioning legs and pics from the waist up aren't good enough.

The main profile pic is always the best. Even when you look a the gallery they look so different in some other pics you're wondering if this is even the same person.

Of course you did. She was likely a real gold digger who really wasn't interested at all in IF you drove but WHAT you drove. How did you end the conversation with her? Did you tell her how incredibly rude it was of her to ask such a personal question or did you just hang up? It's really amazing how low some women will go with their questions and you men really have a rough time of it trying to sift the wheat from the chaff.
