First of all, I am 65 year old woman who has been married 3 times, most recently to a 55 year old guy who has been the love of my life for 16 years now. Prior to him, my late husband and I were only a year apart and my first husband was 2 years older than me and a flaming IDIOT.

Most of the guys I dated in the past were younger and some didn't have the brains God gave to a goose. I didn't have any cash to offer them, didn't own a home, was raising my son alone, worked my arse off at two jobs and in general didn't have the time to waste on the games that some younger guys do play.

My present husband is 10 years younger than me and has more maturity and takes better care of me than anyone in my past ever would have or could have. I didn't look to fall in love with a younger guy, I just did. I am sure there are those younger guys out there who do play the looking for a rich older woman game and there are women who will fall for their CRAP. Never was one of them and use to laugh when I would see these younger guys trying to work their "magic"...ridiculous.

Sugar Grandma??? Now that's a good one! LMAO GERRY, GERRY, GERRY..(little fist pump there) LOL
Wait a minute. Who was talking about 55 year old men? The OP and myself were talking about BOYS in their TWENTIES.

Why are you getting so worked up over a post which had nothing to do with what you are so worked up about?

Are you looking for a fight? Well then go and join the Army.

There have been numerous debates/threads on this already, but here we go again

Because older women tend to have fewer hang-ups. They've worked out who they are and what they want and they don't play silly girl games.

Oh, and they're effin' HAWT, too.

Same reasons women their age go for older men. I suspect that the older woman, just like the older man with a young-un, is paying for most everything.

As far as being hot -- it's all in the eyes of the beholder. Some girls of 18 or 20 will look at any guy over 40 as someone who could be a pal for her dad, but some will see him as a bed partner but usually only if his wallet looks hot.

When I was in my mid 20's I dated a couple women 11 and 13 years older than I.

They were attractive, had less drama, and 'knew what they wanted'... it was very enjoyable.

I still talk to one of them, she's in her mid 40's now.
Just friendly, but she's still hot.

Different woman, but a friend of mine is friends with the ultrarunner Catra... I'm not into 'her look' but she's 48 as I remember... and her body puts most 22 year old's to SHAME!

it depends.

This made me smile.

Yes, as someone else here has stated, it all boils down to preference and attraction. No explanation needed.
