He feels nervous around you because he likes you. He's worried he might say the wrong thing. I think your reading into things too much.

In the movie "Dazed and Confused", the young actor who plays Mitch is constantly touching his nose. Definitely a nervous tick, but it makes for a great drinking game!

I knew a guy who had a nose that was on the larger side, and he'd unconsciously touch it when he was nervous.

Yeah he's most likely lying to you. He is not interested in you at all nor does he want to hang out.

In all seriousness if its bothering you just mention it to him. Whatever happened to communication nowadays? Is it Facebook that has people to scared to talk face to face?
