The OP seems to be frustrated with the fact that people post about their relationships, and he seems to not like it, yet he keeps reading about it. I don't get it.

*shrugs* Maybe he's just giving himself more fuel to be pissed off. Like how a car needs gas to run.

My fuel source is Quaker's wheat squares. Without it I cannot function.

That's because it's not a legit post/OP.

Well I need a daily source of virgin blood. I can't function at night without it.

So did I.

The delivery was a turnoff. I have no interest in watching the rest.

As a regular here for more than a year I have not seen many say they will never date again. It's a non issue but frustration does run high and I understand why.

I think when most people say they will never date or love again, they say it out of frustration and don't really mean it. Kind of like when people say things like they will never touch booze again because they got really drunk and sick one night. It's a knee jerk reaction to a bad event.

I haven't given up--but I am not trying anymore. To me that means I am not going to singles events, doing online dating, basically actively looking and spending time, money and effort into finding someone. I am just living my life, doing what I enjoy and if I meet someone, great! If not, hey, I am enjoying life!

I haven't been on a date since October, 2011.

But I haven't given up. I do try sometimes but I put minimal effort into it.

That's part of it. The other part of it is how so many people need to be with someone else just to make it financially these days, so they settle for whoever doesn't **** em off the most.
