I thought it would be a good idea for myself to list the traits of my ideal partner, just to clarify to myself what it is I'm looking for. This is what I came up with:

Personality: Kind, smart, gentle, honest, affectionate

What traits would your ideal partner have?

EDIT: also state your gender.

Pretty much everything you listed. Just want to add: I like a leader, not a follower.
I like a hero, not a bully.

That is my match!

When I was active online dating, ALL I want is to find someone who will take care of me. And my husband has done that and more SO MUCH more.

What I like is how I find out everyday how innately good human being he is. Like if I ask him why he does things for his friends he was like - coz he is a friend. LOL.

Then we were at grocery store the other day and they had free tastes, I was gonna leave the container somewhere in grocery aisle. My husband said - oh no no, he took it from me and carry it so he can find a trash to put it away. He was like do you like it done in your own house? He also saw an open ref door in the grocery and closed it.

Those little things just make me admire him more as a person and teach me to be a better person.
