I do agree that you raised a good point with your post about his sexual drive issues.
What I meant with the opening thread is NOT to ***** it up. Trust me I see this out in public and my first thought is that they are a ****. What I'm talking about is that if you have the figure, show it, don't put layers of clothes on to hide a nice figure. I'm just saying it's nice to see a woman's figure, nice fitting jeans that are not squeezed into, I don't need to see short skirts or boobs hanging out. If I wanted that I would go to a strip club. I like to see natural beauty, not fake beauty. My wife has a nice figure(she'll say differently) but I hate when she has bigger clothes on, nor do I care for squeezed into clothes(which she does not do), but I like to see clothes that fit comfortably and show her figure. I'm not looking for other guys(or girls) to stare, nor do I look at her like a trophy. Does any understand what I'm saying?
I think... that if you are sincere in caring what your wife thinks of herself, her self esteem, you should cater more towards her being comfortable... and not necessarily what you want her to be comfortable in. Some women feel better working out once a week, whether you see the effects or not. Some women won't leave the house without lipstick on, regardless of what the rest of them look like, etc.
She is not a toy for you to dress up. You can buy those If you want to encourage her, you're walking a fine line between shopping for her, and accepting her the way she is. There could be reasons you have nothing to do with, for what sets her comfort line where it is.
Many gorgeous women make it a point not to put on the dog to go anywhere. My friend was sexually assaulted at an early age, she stays beautiful, but guarded. She will throw on a large sweatshirt over a pair of jeans and sneakers. Is she slobby? no. Is she "refusing to admit she has a great body" ? no.. she just doesn't see the need to draw attention to it like other people have tendancies to.
Some men are glad their women don't show off their figures...they're secure enough to enjoy how they feel about her and her looks without needing other men to notice.
