A ten year difference really isnt that much depending on where you both are in life. A 28 yo dating an 18 yo, not ok. A 38 yo dating a 28 yo, no biggie.

I have a relative who is married to a man who is 15 years older. They've been married going on 30 years now and she was 30 and he was 45 when they met.
