CNN is biased and unfair in their reporting. I don't think they have changed a lot.
Pushing an agenda with misleading headlines.

Actually, she likes video games more than I. and neither of us care about porn.

The whole porn and video games thing used to annoy me and make me feel insecure, but now I know how important "me time" is and how you can't be on top of one another all the time. I do understand wanting to get away to fantasyland once in a while, as long as it doesn't hinder your real life.

Video games are complex, mentally challenging, and engaging. Porn is nice to look at and is a great stress reliever.

I'm failing to see the problem here.

Mostly all of american media is biased and unfair in their reporting. That's why when reading these reports they should be taken with a grain of salt no matter what the source.

You mean like the guy who was married for 40+ years and his wife passed away? He's 73 now, who gonna chase after him?

He turns to porn. I don't blame him or bounce him for it.

For the record I find both video games & porn enjoyable, I work hard at work, I did my best in school & I do like spending time with my girlfriend. I actually do enjoy porn way more than actual sex. If I didn't have to actual talk to the women I've had sex with Id probably put sex higher or on the same level as porn. What's the different between a video game & a really good book or tv show? I don't see the issue, people enjoy what they enjoy. The article seems to be a means of trying to keep men in a position to not do the thing we enjoy. Does any other guys get that vibe?

At best, this is another pop-psychology meme linking something in the cultural media to personally destructive behavior. At worst, it fails to consider the possibility that the increasing marginalization of males within our society has played a role in causing many young males to immerse themselves in fantasy scenarios.
