So, as I mentioned in another thread, I am on the early stages of talking to someone. The problem - his story isn't logical. As in his day to day activities. I just can't shake it. He, of course, feels I am over reacting when I question details and associates that with I have trust issues. Could be true.

Some examples:
1. His day off was Weds & he told me on Tues of what he had going on for his day off. One Weds morning, I learn he had to unexpectedly travel to a town 4hrs away for work. He tells me his job has him on call 24/7, so his shift is never predictable. The problem is - I used to live in the town he traveled to, & I know how long it taks to get there. His travel times didn't match.
2. On this trip, he had to stay the night at a hotel. I talked to him on the phone Thur morning. Most hotels have you check out by noon, but he was there until at least 2pm. While talking to him, the phone suddenly got muffed and was disconnected. He didn't call back, nor answer when I called. He didn't hit me back until 6 hrs later over text, & that was to apologize for the phone dropping.
3. He absolutely avoids any chance of me seeing where he currently lives, states he is couch surfing with a roommate in an effeciency until they get a bigger apartment (move date Apr 5), & he is embarrassed by his current set up.

There are a few other items that don't add up, these are just recent.

I have google searched & can't find anything. His high school puts their yearbook online, he isn't listed for his graduation year. I can't find any record of him by the name I know him by, & his cell# that I have is a prepaid.

I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Run for the hills!!!!!

Is no doubt what many will immediately say.
That's as ridiculous as deciding to marry the guy immediately.

As with anyone you date, proceed cautiously (maybe extra cautiously in this instance).

Seems like its a sure bet he has someone else in his life, or at least some FWB type situation. But my god, id hate to be with a woman who investigated my every move, even if i have nothing to hide.

You really have to ask ?

Read your post back, and think what advice you would give to one of your friends who asked you this question.........................

I usually hire a private investigator, or cast a voodoo ritual spell. For the latter though you have to obtain an article of clothing.

He's lying. Dump him. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else.

Actually a simpleton could figure this out. Google the #. It will tell you first and last name. Address. And such.

Or fingernails.

Meh. I think this is just a sign to proceed with more-than-usual caution. Are you normally suspicious of men you're dating?

Actually, if I thought someone was messing with me, I'd probably start to mess with them. But I'm ornery like that.

Could be legit or he could be hiding a girlfriend or spouse. You can either proceed with caution and see if come April he does move into an apartment and invite you over, or you can dump him now and forget about it.
