Then you say, "It seems like this isn't a good night for you. If you want to get together, give me a call and we'll arrange for another date."

Oh, and by the way, look both ways twice before crossing the road to make sure no cars are coming, and when you wipe your heinie, make sure you go front to back so you don't get doo-doo on your doo-dads.

Smile From a female

Think of it this way -

Maybe she is getting her nails done and they could only take her at 6.....

Life happens - my gosh, this is really simple stuff - people need to have some flexibility in their lives - thank God my life isn't rigid.

My kids are in their 20's and we all have learned to go with the flow. In fact, we always say that the most fun times we've had are the ones that weren't so planned. They just HAPPEN.

Giving her an out if she really isnt looking forward to meeting. The last thing you want is to go out with someone that isnt fully invested. No need to over analyze things...

Never, ever use the phrase "tied up" with this poster. He'll lose focus and go off somewhere else.

Smile Just an example of flexibility.....

We had an appointment. Had to be at 6 or so we were told. Well, it was really 5:55 PM and then the doors are locked.

We tried, nothing worked.

Ended up taking the whole fam to an amazing Italian restaurant that we never would have found if we had not been in that area - one of the best meals/nights ever! Delish and fun.

To the OP:
Wait until life gives you some real problems.

Do you also need people's opinions about what clothes to wear or which toilet paper to buy? I'm amazed you can get yourself dressed in the mornings.

I don't have a good feeling about this
Don't worry about it. If she pushes back again and/or cancels, so be it.

It's just a first date, so it's a low priority. If something came up and she's still willing to see you 1 H later, that's a good sign.

Even if you are upset about this, please don't show it to the girl or it will be a red flag. If she cancels, just say 'OK. Maybe some other time.' and let her come to you.

Is this the same woman who said she was excited about meeting you? Are you getting pre-date jitters? You should be getting all spiffed up for your long awaited night. Have fun.
