I have to think about my answer for a while, since I'm such a dingbat I need to sort through the oodles of old memories of me doing stupid things on dates. (FYI, my friends nicknamed me Lucy and not due to my hair color either.)
Yet I would love to hear your stories. Please share with us.
I tried to take a sip from my water with a straw, but missed and instead it went up my nose. In a bit of shock I pulled the glass away but the straw stayed in my nose. I laughed it off, but there was no second date
While living in Colorado i took a suthen belle out to a busy cafe in Boulder. The whole lunch was filled with her beautiful suthen accent which seemed to entertain a couple of girls from the university. Lots of mimicking and laughing came at her expense... so being the true suthen gentlemen i am as we were leaving i poured the rest of my UNSWEETEN ( the devil's poison) tea on the heads of the two giggling college students. I chalked it up to being away from the south too long and letting my manners slip.
Well, I'm always doing mortifying stuff on dates so selecting any is a problem. However, I had a date recently do something that SHOULD have embarrassed him.
Dude took out a SAFETY PIN at the end of the meal and started picking his teeth with it. I'm not fussy about table manners, but good god I almost choked on my drink.

Oh you're kidding, that's awful. Ewwww but very funny!

So, you, a man, poured a drink on two girls?? That sounds like something another girl would do.
This is an easy one. I was on a date w/this guy. Thank goodness I really didn't like the guy that much, I was just dating him to make another guy I really didn't care about jealous. I was working graveyard shift, I guess I was bored. Anyhoo, I had the most horrendous gas imaginable. Silent, but extremely deadly!! It is embarrassing to even talk about. I have never before or since had any kind of problem like that. I can't figure out what happened to this day. He was a trooper though. He did not even say anything. He did mention it later. I can't remember exactly what he said, but he was totally cool about it. It was sooo horrible!!!
I was at the movie theatre with a date and had to go to the bathroom. Well he was on the end seat and before he had a chance to move, I tried to jump over him. Well I miss judged where his legs were and fell on his lap. I quick sat up and jumped over to the steps . I told him sorry. And that I had to pee. I was so embarrassed that I hid for a bit in the bathroom. Then came back. Him jumping up so I could sit. As I settled in my seat, he was snickering a lot.
