Now you're trying the oldest fallacy in the book, typical red herring. You have nothing intelligent to offer and you can't even formulate a decent argument or opinion.
I should use this thread as an example for some of the "Woman study" courses that are offered here, would make for an interesting debate. Shed some light on the hypocrisy older woman are spewing out these days
Lying is manipulation though. If she was at peace with regrets and a totally different person she would not of felt the need to lie. She probably got into that mess to belong and be accepted. She lied to belong and be accepted as his girlfriend. This type of personality trait that is so dependent on outside acceptance is playing with fire. I know what you are saying but she could of avoided all that and the worry of keeping skeletons in her closet if she was just honest from the get go. I just never understood why people bother with lying when it comes to LTR...eventually the truth of the past slips out somewhere. Especially if 50+ people already know about it.
Well, see, that's where I think he is the one who is insecure. If he was secure in his love for her and who she is as a person today, he wouldn't have asked in the first place. It makes me wonder what other nosy questions he has pelted her with over the years, and what kind of vibes he was sending out that perhaps had her thinking it was easier to lie than to tell him the truth and listen to the ensuing hysteria and drama. And if that's what she was thinking, she was right!
Where she went wrong was getting with someone so insecure in the first place. See, I don't tolerate that, myself. If a man is that worried about being in competition with former boyfriends or sexual partners that he's going to ask, I can only imagine what else he'd be insecure about. That's the kind of guy who will insist you throw out photos and gifts from old boyfriends, ask you where you're going and with whom every time you say you're going to happy hour after work, call you to check up on you, and everything else. And only an insecure woman afraid of being alone would put up with it. If I've seen it once, I've seen it 100 times.
It's just a shame that now, because of what jackalopes like this "OP" said and did, that there may be one more woman out there who will DEFINITELY lie the next time she is asked that question.
And men wonder why women don't want to talk about idiotic things like "numbers" in the first place. Invariably, the men who make a big stink about this kind of thing are either really religious, very young, or seriously messed up in the head.

Let's see. I can go to a cyber cafe and make up a new screen name. Of course, someone who was off on Good Friday and is now posting from an office will have a different IP address, too.

I actually wish I had discovered this thread sooner, I would have had a lot of fun arguing with the other females who posted earlier. Surprisingly, they're even more hypocritical than you are.

He never stated on who asked, he just said during the "sex talk." You assume he asked about her past, how do you not know it wasnt her who brought up the "sex talk?" In every realtionship I have been in its been the woman who has brought up history.
If you want to talk about security then perhaps look at her, she was the one who lied about her past. If anyone has security issues its her.
