I don't know how gay men feel about it, but as a straight woman, I prefer dating men who are "rough around the edges." If I wanted to wait while you primp and groom, or try on 30 pairs of shoes at the mall, I'd date a woman instead.
(and I don't even have much patience for women like that, LOL)
Are you afraid your partner is going to flirt with us or look at us in a sexual manner?
Are you jealous we can out dress you?
You flatter yourself to think that you are some kind of a man-magnet (and probably think of yourself as a she-magnet). Please post a photo so that we can be the judge.
As for "metro". Gay men were "metro" long before you found your way. Your designer clothes were more than likely designed by gay men. Maybe you haven't noticed that there are few, if any, women who design clothing for men.
All your "trendy" ways were considered "gay" at one time. OMG - you're so gay!!!!!

The term annoys me. So wanting to be fashionable is being in touch with your feminine side? Please. Why the need to put everyone into 'cleverly' titled little boxes? We are who we are. Why should gay men even care about so-called 'metrosexuals'?
...AFAIK this is some sort of str8 male fashion/lifestyle thing that involves being fashion and style concious? Mahahah....Excellent...>rubs hands< ...our secret plan is working!
Calling oneself a metrosexual is the antithesis of class. The class, that is the purpose of dressing nicely, is gained through subtlety. People who call themselves metrosexuals might as well just walk around in clown suits. They'd get attention that way too. If anyone disagrees, explain why. (I'm not gay though).
